The Arts for Canadians Tomorrow Society aims to create diverse and engaging arts exhibits and programming that reaches and connects the local community to share and appreciate the wide range of cultures within our society.
The purposes of the Society are:
- To advance the public’s appreciation of the visual and performing arts by producing art exhibitions, presentations, and performance arts events, and by providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit, present, or perform their artistic works through participation in such events.
- To advance education and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the visual and performing arts by providing opportunities for workshops and seminars in the arts, as well as presentations to the community.
- To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the purposes of the Society.
Toronto TAIWANfest
TAIWANfest is an annual festival that is co-produced with Harbourfront Centre. Event activities celebrate, share, and exchange cultures with the general public, including performance, visual arts exhibitions, films, Indigenous, culinary and more.
LunarFest GTA Celebrations
LunarFest was designed to be a festival that celebrates one of the oldest traditions for many Asian cultures - Lunar New Year. LunarFest aims to collaborate with many Asian communities and outreaches to other Canadians.
Lunar Lanterns of Indigenous Light
The Lunar Lanterns of Indigenous Light is an annual light installation that takes place during the Lunar New Year. The lanterns bring together the traditionally East Asian lanterns with artwork by local Indigenous artists that tell the stories and tales of Ontario's natural landscape.
